TVIP400WStrengths: I like the nice function of controlling the camera head remotely. Weakness: The manual is not clear and lacks step-by-step installation instructions. My experience with telephone tech support turned out to be not satisfactory. The lady did not provide useful information and seemly tried to follow a handbook in front of her. She asked me to input PPPoE account information which I did not believe is necessary since I was not trying to connect it to my DSL modem. Later I talked to some computer experts in my office and got more useful help than the misleading phone help. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great Wireless CameraStrengths: Multiple Viewing Angle. View and Remote Control wirelessly. Weakness: picture resolution Great Wireless Security Web Camera. 24/7 security monitoring and remote control the viewing direction of the Camera from any where via internet. I got my first unit in April this year (2007) and I bought the second one today. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

TRENDnet Advanced Pan and Tilt Wireless Internet Camera Server TV-IP400W
A streamlined setup process is one of the strong points of this network camera, which installed in only a few minutes and was monitoring an entryway about 30 minutes after we removed it from the box. The six-page color manual was particularly clear and well-written. However, the... Top

Trendnet TV-400W wireless
Strengths: The camera is a nice color blue. Works OK in the home if you all you want to do is scroll around. Pretty good resolution and color indoors. Cheaper than D-Link Wired and Wireless camera.
Weakness: Can't get presets or e-mail to work. Can't use it to view/look outdoors if it's light out. Manual and instructions suck. No speaker.
Tech support is worthless. Generally a poor camera that is not worth the money. I tried this one out to try to save some money, turned out to be not satisfactory. Not something you want to depend on if you want to access this camera from the internet. I also have a D-Link. Spend the extra $$ and get a D-Link until someone else comes out with one that functions.
