The Air-O-Swiss 7135 Humidifer is a quality-built machine with fully digital controls, a large water tank that allows operation for up to 18 hours without re-filling. The digital controls allow you to set a pre-determined level of humidty and the unit will maintain that level. It also features an automatic, sleep and timer mode. The built-in hygrometer measures and displays the current room humidty and changes as the humidity level in the room changes. The unit also has a pre-heat function that allows the water to heated so the mist discharged into the room is at 104 degrees instead of cold and the water is disinfected with a built-in ionic silver stick. A de-mineralization cartridge removes dissolved minerals in the water for better operation. The cartridge is replaced every 2-3 months and the ionic silver stick is replaced once a year. The unit is barely audible while in operation so if it's used in a bedroom it won't disturb your sleep. I find the 7135 to be an excellent value for the money and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, feature-packed humidifer.
