Strengths: High speed.Great compatablity.Easy install.
Weakness: Connector location makes it hard to attach cables on Tyan S2912-e motherboard due to heatsync.No backup battery included.
Got this card to replace the onboard LSI SAS/SATA II controller due to a compatablity issue with drives larger then 2TB. Easiest install I have had in months. Insert card, connect the cables and power on. The configuration interface at boot is EASY to use and took me 2 minutes to have my array setup and to boot into windows. Cannot say enough about this card. Read and Write performance are well beyond what I expected.
