BUYERS BEWARE: My Thrive arrived (left at door w/o signature required) while we were out of town. My neighbor picked it up for security. I physically received the package 3 weeks later. When I encountered some problems that required tech support, I learned this unit could not be used the way I needed, so I called to return the tablet. ToshibaDirect has a 15 day return policy and technically I called on the 16th day (actually 15 days and 8 hours) that I had the tablet. I spoke to one customer service rep who submitted my request and indicated she would call back. She didn't, so I called again. My previous call was acknowledged and I was told my request for a return was declined. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He indicated he would re-submit my request. He did call back to relate that my request was declined again. The inflexible, impersonal, hardnosed management makes it hard to recommend buying from ToshibaDirect.
