Seems decent enough for my needs

Strengths: relatively simple to operate; needles and bobbins available in most sewing stores.

Weaknesses: Sometimes bogs down on multiple layers of heavy fabric (like Cotton Duck); light gets hot; thread tension is touchy.

Review: I'm no sewing expert. As a 42 year old man, I've never operated a sewing machine before. I bought this for simple mending, hemming pants, repairing flags, putting patches on vests, etc. The machine is easy to operate, as far as I can tell. My biggest challenge so far has been setting thread tension properly. There may be other machines that are easier, but I dont know. I'd say that...
