Review: We are very happy with our new Badger garbage disposal. It was very easy to install and it grinds up even heavy citrus peels. I haven't tried banana peels yet. It is a very good product for the money.

Strengths: The directions are very easy to follow, read them all first before you start.

Weaknesses: It sounds a little louder than the old one, maybe not as smooth.

Review: We replaced our KitchenAid disposer that we purchased in 1991 (it started to hum) with this one. It is basically the same as the old one and it took about 2 hours to replace it. First we turned off the breaker to the disposer. We had to detach the old electric line and reattach it to the new disposer. Since we replaced our old disposer we didn't need to use the flange. It works fine!
